We are looking for energetic and curious IT Services System Integrators to join our fast-expanding team, working with Kaloom’s programmable and automated networking solutions. Ideal candidates will have a background in troubleshooting hardware problems and hardware installation and cabling, as well as networking and Linux operating systems. We are, however, also seeking enthusiastic candidates to join our team and learn on the job.

• Troubleshoot equipment in test environments (servers, switches, routers) and the office (laptops) to isolate problems
• Create necessary documentation and help train new users with the handling of equipment. This includes providing problem-solving steps (for technically-savvy individuals as well as for people with limited or no technical knowledge)
• Help maintain stock of required spare parts, tools, etc.

The solution engineer is an exceptional technology leader with strong consultative engagement capabilities to develop transformational and outcome-based solutions in the Data Center and 5G/4G Networking market segment. The engagement with the customer starts early leveraging new and innovative solution concepts and continues through the sales process (demo, PoC, RFI/RFP) into the post-sales stages providing the architectural governance to ensure successful delivery of the solution. This technology leadership will be provided directly or through multi-vendor solutions and System integration partners. To Telcos, Data Center Operators and Managed Services providers.

The role will be a leader and contributor to the solution designs (product + services) in demo, PoCs and RFI/ RFP processes to position the Kaloom SDF, CEF integrated with 5G-UPF and other networking services running on Kubernetes environment such as Red-Hat Open Shift Container Platform, all running on disaggregated White Box hardware such as Switches, Smart NICs and Servers.

The Solution Engineer will build and maintain close relationships with:

• Kaloom account team along with existing and potential customers – with the aim to become a trusted advisor and consultant across several number defined target accounts and opportunities throughout the lifecycle from initial engagement to closure. The knowledge transfer from Sales to Post Sales Services Delivery is also crucial.
• Kaloom’s partners such as Solution, System Integration and Value-Added partners.
