Paul-Henri is a seasoned CFO and Executive in technology companies, skilled in entrepreneurship, venture capital, banking, management, corporate development, and mergers & acquisitions. After a few years at RBC Group head quarters, Paul-Henri moved to National Bank of Canada to start up, at age 33, a specialized division investing in technology venture capital funds and financing high-tech companies with tailored financial tools to support growth in emerging markets. Strong with the success of continuous return on capital exceeding 30% of the $300 M portfolio he contributed to build, he moved up with Desjardins’ venture capital fund to manage new investments in software companies. Paul-Henri was drawn out of the investment sector by a few successful fast growing technology companies looking for his mentoring and talent as CFO. Over the last 15 years as CFO, he structured companies for major operative growth, and worked out successful downsizing as well, leaded a few acquisitions and exits, established operative subsidiary in South East Asia and developed business in Middle East and Europe. He is recognized for managing growth and positioning companies for success.
Tom has a successful track record as an entrepreneur and as an executive, focusing on data driven businesses and networking. He has extensive experience operating global businesses, leading diverse cross functional teams and recruiting extraordinary talent to build and sell unique products. Tom is responsible to drive the product vision, strategy and marketing at Kaloom. He is a thought leader in AI, automation, analytics and fully closed loop systems. Previously, he founded Xelerated (acquired by Marvell), a pioneer in programmable networking infrastructures. He also held executive roles at Jolata (big data analytics), Cipherlex (AI driven privacy and security) and Ericsson (SDN, hybrid cloud and data services).

Per has spent his entire career in multiple engineering roles. His experience and knowledge of building large-scale systems and Data Center infrastructure will contribute significantly to the Kaloom solution. Per also has most recently been very focused on cloud solutions and is considered an expert in highly scalable load balancing. Per’s specific experience includes:
Sveto brings extensive experience in full product life cycle management, from requirements handling, to system design, and operation & maintenance, focusing on serviceability and supportability of core network products.
His 25 years of international experience in telecom markets as a Solution Architect makes him a go-to person for pre-sales and after-sales engagements.
Most recently, at Ericsson, he was responsible for Cloud Storage solution and a member of the Cloud Infrastructure Architecture Board with responsibilities for e2e and deployment architecture. As well, he had technical ownership of the knowledge area for SS7-based protocols.
Sveto has been involved with virtualization and cloud projects for many years; helping migrate numerous network functions to virtualized environments.
He held various leadership roles in Services and Product Development organizations, with responsibilities for customer and partner relations management.
Shyam is a true entrepreneur with solid track record of success. He co-founded SDP Telecom Inc., a company serving all major wireless OEM companies around the globe. Since the inception of SDP Telecom, Shyam had led the company to win numerous awards, notably including the 2008 and 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Technology Fast 500 awards in North America. In 2009, Gupta was recognized with the prestigious Quebec Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. Started with less than $100 initial investment, SDP was sold at the end of 2014 for many tens of millions of dollars. Shyam is now involved in the identification and evaluation of new investment opportunities in the high tech arena, as well as in the management of current investment portfolios.
Serge has a wealth of operating experience in technology companies as well as in large financial institutions. In addition to being a member of Kaloom’s board, he is on the board of District M and also a board observer of Coveo. Previously, he has served as Vice-President of Finance and Administration for several technology companies, and also as Senior Manager at the Treasury Department of the Laurentian Bank of Canada. Since 2002 Serge has been with the Fonds FTQ, where he is involved in the identification and the evaluation of new investments as well as in the management of investments in portfolio, with successful exits including Envivio (Nasdaq – ENVI), subsequently sold to Ericsson, and Nexsan Technologies which was bought by Emotion.
Rick is an accomplished and results-driven, early-stage and public company senior executive in the technology industry called upon to deliver high growth and increased shareholder value as a leader for go-to-market strategy and execution.
He spent the last nine years of his career at Red Hat as Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America. He led Red Hat's North American sales organization with responsibility for sales, marketing, consulting, channels, and strategic planning and managed a P&L with a team in excess of 1,500 associates driving more than $1.5B. He has established a sales culture centered on the agility that keeps up with open source software innovation and transparency, which facilitates open and honest lines of communication with his customers.
Rick is a strong P&L manager and expert in building and motivating high performing teams and scaling organizations while driving multi-product portfolio strategies. As an individual of high integrity, adept at getting the most from people in a positive fashion, Rick has a 35-year track record of achieving success across all customer segments and delivering positive customer outcomes through complex sales strategies.
Over the course of his career, Rick has built and managed sales teams for top-tier companies and start-up organizations in application software, consulting services, infrastructure, middleware and cloud. His accomplishments include a strong track record of revenue growth through understanding and delivering solutions targeted at Global 1000 companies with specialties in the areas of go-to-market and organizational strategy, revenue growth, sales infrastructure and methodology implementation, hyper-growth scaling, sales and corporate culture, single-to-multi-product success, partners/alliance management, Cloud/infrastructure market, subscription models, large contract negotiation, financial applications, CRM, Middleware, Virtualization, Cloud computing, SaaS, open source software and consulting services.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts and earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from Babson College. He is a board director at Kaloom, Inc. and an advisor at NuoDB, Inc.
Dr. Jan Uddenfeldt, a principal innovator and pioneer of the wireless industry including GSM technology and mobile broadband 3G and 4G LTE technology. He is the former global Chief Technology Officer of Ericsson and Sony Mobile Communications.
He is active as advisor/board director to a portfolio of start-up companies in Silicon Valley as well as to large corporations. Portfolio start-up companies includes currently Swift Navigation, Redshift Networks, Artificial Solutions, Kaloom Networks, Glo, Stratus Silverlining, Agnity, Sentons.
He was the global CTO and Senior VP at Sony Mobile Communications (previous Sony Ericsson) from 2010 to 2013 based in Silicon Valley with major reporting units in Sweden and Tokyo.
Dr. Uddenfeldt is the former global CTO and Senior VP at Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden. He worked at Ericsson from 1978 to 2010 of which as Chief Technology Officer and SVP from 1989 to 2010. He was responsible for wireless R&D evolving from 2G (GSM and TDMA), 3G (WCDMA and HSPA) to 4G LTE.
He received his Ph.D. from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1978 and an honorary Doctor’s degree from the University of Lund in 1996.
For his pioneering work on GSM and 3G and long-term contribution to the wireless industry he has been awarded with many prestigious prizes in Europe, US and Japan and is a member of the Wireless Hall of Fame.
